Add an orange accent pillow to warm up your room!

To create this pillow I began with washing, mordanting and dying the fabric a base color. Next, for the first layer of pattern, I dyed the linen with madder root and osage, incorporating a clamp-resist (shibori) technique. After the fabric dried, I used stitching to add another layer of surface design.

care: Hand wash with mild shampoo, air dry and steam press on linen setting. be sure to keep your hand dyed pillows out of direct sunlight.
