Incorporating a clamp-resist (shibori) technique, this scarf is hand dyed with plant-based dyes and block printed.

The tussah silk is hand reeled and hand woven. The wild silk cocoon gives this silk a natural beige color and crisp texture. Hand woven on small looms built into the cottages of traditional weavers, this silk is collected after the moth has pushed the silk aside and emerged.

care: Hand wash with mild shampoo, air dry and steam press on silk setting.fabric: tussah silk. This fabric is crisp and has a bit of a sparkle.
