The perfect soft, luxurious, warm brown accessory to accent your whole wardrobe!

To create this scarf I began with washing, mordanting and dying the fabric a base color. Next, for the first layer of pattern, using black walnut hulls, I dyed the rayon brown, incorporating a clamp-resist (shibori) technique. Then, I used hand block printing to add another layer of surface design, and after drying for three or four days, I set, machine hemmed and pressed to finish.
